Chiral Hydrogel Biomaterials

Chiral hydrogel biomaterials (chiral hydrogel biomaterials) is a hydrogel material with chiral structure and function that can be used in a variety of applications in the biomedical field, such as drug delivery, tissue engineering, biosensing, etc.

The preparation methods for chiral hydrogel biomaterials are mainly as follows:

-Hydrogel with chiral structure is formed by self-assembly or cross-linking.

-Using external stimuli, such as light, magnetism, electricity, temperature, etc., to induce a conformational change or phase transition of a nonchiral hydrogel to form a hydrogel with a chiral structure.

-Using the template method, the nonchiral hydrogel is filled into the template with a chiral structure, such as the helical tube, DNA double helix, etc., enabling the hydrogel to replicate the chiral structure of the template.)
