The water-soluble CdSe/ZnS quantum dot products produced by Suzhou Beike Nanotechnology Co., Ltd. are based on CdSe as the core, ZnS as the shell, and core/shell fluorescent nanomaterials coated with hydrophilic ligands. The average quantum yield is 70%, avoid direct sunlight during storage, and store in a sealed dark place at 4 degrees. Products with any wavelength from 480nm to 650nm can be customized for customers. This product has the characteristics of uniform particle size, broad absorption spectrum, narrow and symmetric emission spectrum, and high and stable fluorescence intensity.

A fluorescent sensor for the specific and selective detection of Bt has been developed by the CdSe/ZnS quantum dots applied by Huazhong Agricultural University and Guangxi University for Nationalities: In detection, when there is no detection target, only the signal of gQDs exists in the fluorescence signal analysis. Output, the hairpin DNA structure is in an unopened state; when the detection target exists, the target DNA sequence will hybridize with the hairpin DNA to achieve an open loop, rQDs@SiO2 is captured by MBs@SiO2@gQDs@SA, and the connected whole is due to fluorescence resonance Energy transfer (FRET), the fluorescence intensity (I620) of rQDs increases, and the fluorescence intensity (I540) of gQDs decreases. Data analysis shows that ratio fluorescence (I620/I540) exhibits better linearity and higher sensitivity in Bt detection. This article was published in the latest issue of Sensors and Actuators B in 2017 hosted by Elsevier. The magazine has an impact factor of 5.4 in 2016 and belongs to the first area of the JCR journal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This research provides a new technical guidance scheme for the production of high-efficiency and high-stability quantum dot fluorescence sensors.
